And then later… You think, “Why did I do that?!” In this episode, I’m doing something I’ve never done before on the podcast. I’m sharing a real coaching call from inside Organized Life Academy. Marcy came to the call stuck in the purge step of organizing. She wasn’t struggling because she had too much stuff. She was struggling because she didn’t trust herself to make the right decision. Years ago, during a stressful move, she threw away a box of journals from high school and college. And she’s been beating herself up about it ever since. That one moment turned into a story she carried for years. “What if I throw away the wrong thing again?” Sound familiar? In this conversation, we unpack the real reason letting go can feel so scary and how the solution has less to do with your stuff… and everything to do with how you treat yourself. Because what if the problem isn’t that you might make a wrong decision… What if the problem is how you talk to yourself when you do? This episode is a powerful look at self-trust, compassion, and the freedom that comes when you stop punishing yourself for past decisions. If you’ve ever felt stuck decluttering because you’re afraid of regret, this one is for you. What You’ll Learn Why one past decluttering regret can stop you from making decisions today The surprising percentage of things we actually regret letting go of The hidden fear that keeps many people stuck in the purge step A simple mindset shift that makes decision-making easier How to build trust with your future self while organizing Why compassion for your past decisions is the key to moving forward

Have you ever looked at your home or your closet and thought, “I just have so much stuff”? That feeling of overwhelm is not actually about the number of things you own. It is about not knowing where you are going. In this episode, Tracy shares a powerful coaching moment with her client, Dana, that completely changed how they looked at organizing. What started as a conversation about too many clothes became a breakthrough: a 1000-piece puzzle that served as a perfect metaphor for decluttering and organizing your home. You trust that one piece at a time will eventually create a beautiful picture. That is exactly how organizing should feel as well. In this episode, you will learn how to neutralize overwhelm, why sorting first is the key to success, how to use your future vision to make decisions, and how to turn organizing into a calming and satisfying experience instead of something stressful. 148 | How to Make a Decision Using the DONE Framework

If you often find yourself stuck in indecision or spinning in your thoughts long after a decision should have been made, today’s episode will feel like a deep exhale. I teach a simple and powerful process called the DONE Framework that helps you make confident choices without overwhelm or second-guessing. Women often think they have a decision problem when, in reality, they have a swirl of emotions and past evidence clouding their thinking. The DONE Framework brings you back to clarity by helping you define the real decision, observe it from your future self, notice what aligns with your values and identity, and execute the simplest next step. In this episode, I explain the framework step by step and then walk through four common scenarios so you can hear exactly how the method works in real life. You will learn how to use the DONE Framework to decide whether to join Organized Life Academy, where to begin organizing your home, how to handle sentimental items, and whether to bring in support to lighten your load. You will also hear why decisions create energy, how identity plays a major role in follow-through, and why past attempts do not determine your future success. You Will Learn... How to use the DONE Framework to make any decision Why naming the actual decision immediately reduces confusion How your future self gives clearer answers than your past self How to choose in a way that aligns with your values and identity What it looks like to execute a decision without drama or pressure For the resources and links mentioned, go to: https://simplysquaredaway.com/148

Most people think they struggle because they lack willpower or skill, but the real issue is that they are approaching organizing with a hidden mindset and process mistakes that sabotage them before they even begin. In this episode, I walk you through the five biggest organizing mistakes I see over and over in homes, businesses, and life. When you understand these patterns and use the simple shifts I teach today, getting organized becomes easier, more doable, and surprisingly peaceful. Here is what you will learn: Why starting from the identity of a disorganized person keeps you stuck The missing step almost everyone skips: planning The belief that you should feel like organizing when the time comes Expecting to be good at organizing from the beginning Looking at everything instead of focusing on one project at a time And a little bonus: you're not celebrating your progress, which keeps you in a state of discouragement. Celebrating the gain transforms your motivation and helps you see yourself as someone who follows through. By the end of this episode, you will understand exactly why you have struggled in the past and how to approach organizing in a way that works for your brain, your schedule, and your identity. Think again. Today, I’m showing you a completely different and way simpler path to building a thriving fitness‑coaching business without living on Instagram. On this episode, I talk with Ria Zervos, a longtime fitness pro turned business coach for health and fitness coaches. After 22 years in the gym industry (from the towel desk to managing large corporate group‑exercise programs, running trade shows, coordinating presenters - she’s done it all), Ria now lives in Costa Rica and helps fitness professionals build legit online businesses without depending on social media algorithms or daily posting. We dig into why so many fitness pros struggle to get paid what they deserve, how they often overlook the goldmine sitting right under their noses (their existing network), and Ria walks us step‑by‑step through how she helps her clients build real businesses by talking to real people. No cold DMs. No burnout. Just real conversations, clear programs, and smart positioning. We cover: Why social‑media fame doesn’t equal financial success. How to use your everyday network, from your hairdresser and doctor to the barista at your favorite cafe, to build a client base. The three critical things every fitness coach’s profile (on any platform) needs: who you are, who you serve, and what you offer. How to craft and test a simple, logical coaching program before trying to sell it online. Why collaborating with other coaches (even those you view as “competition”) can help you both grow. Small offline/low-tech marketing tactics that actually work (think coffee‑shop chats, spa tables, even flyers in a chiropractor’s office). Whether you’re a fitness pro ready to quit the treadmill of social media or just a coach who wants to simplify how you get clients, this episode is for you. What You’ll Learn Why relying on social media alone won’t pay the bills, and what will. How to turn everyday people you already know (or bump into) into clients by simply talking about what you do. The three messaging questions every coach’s profile needs to answer (even if you don’t use social media). How to build a coaching program with clear steps and tangible outcomes that sell (without confusing or overwhelming people). How to collaborate strategically with other coaches, even those who seem like competitors, to expand your reach. Simple, low‑tech ways to get your first clients (flyers in waiting rooms, spa or yoga‑studio events, bringing snacks, yes, snacks!).

Cyber Monday is here which means all five Black Friday deals are open for one more day. Over the past year, I realized I’ve unintentionally complicated my business. Too many downloads. So I’m taking five mornings in December to do a personal “simplification retreat,” and in this episode, I walk you through the three questions I’m asking myself each day to reset, clear the clutter, and refocus on what actually matters. 1. What creates results? Identify the essential actions that truly moved your business forward this year. 2. What creates clutter? Uncover the tasks, tools, habits, offers, and routines that created confusion instead of clarity. 3. What is the simplest way to do the essential thing? Once you know what matters, simplify how you get those actions done. These questions can transform the way you run your business and your life, and you can use them alongside me. I also walk through each of the five Black Friday deals (open for 24 hours!) through the lens of simplicity, showing you how each one removes complexity and helps you build an organized, peaceful foundation for 2026. Whether you’re simplifying your business or your home, join me through one of the Black Friday offers IF you think it will aid you in simplifying your life.

143 | The Power of Setting Your Destination and Planning Your Year - Deal 5 - VIP Experience

In today’s episode, I’m teaching the simple but powerful concept of setting your destination, just like using a GPS, and how this one step makes planning your year easier, calmer, and more intentional. You will learn why having a destination brings clarity to your goals, your time blocks, and your routines, and how designing a repeatable year removes decision fatigue and creates consistency.
