Why Your Energy Matters More Than Your Experience

“What is going on with you? You don’t seem like you want to be here at all.” That was what I found myself asking a new coach I had hired 10 minutes into our first session earlier this week. The coach froze and her eyes grew wide. She seemed genuinely surprised that I was able to ‘read her mind’ and she started fumbling to come up with lame excuses. All that to say, the call did not last much longer after that and I won’t be using her services again. The crazy part is- she has amazing credentials, an awesome website, and she puts out impressive content. But the truth is, I would 1000x rather give my money to a less experienced Modern Mystic who was fully present, enthusiastic, and actually wanted to f*cking be there, than to the most experienced person on the planet who has negative energy and thought it wasn’t worth their time. I’m willing to bet most of your potential clients would agree with me as well! And look, it wasn’t because of any special intuitive abilities on my part that I was able to perceive the negative vibe she was giving off. Every human is born with the innate ability to read energy whether they're consciously aware of it or not.
