
The U.S. military is using more than 100 fighter and surveillance aircraft to carry out a partial blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. But even though it says it has turned around at least nine ships from Iranian ports so far, maritime data shows that at least three ships sailing from Iranian ports crossed the strait on Tuesday.
